My body butters are different. Most body butters contain shea butter, coconut oil, cocoa butter, and many times other nut oils. Many people are sensitive or allergic to these. My body butters contain none of these. They are safe for people with sensitivities and allergies. Most body butters on the market contain shea butter, because it's very cheap. I use high quality, more expensive and exotic butters and oils in my products. Feel the difference.

Tucuma Butter (Astrocaryum vulgare) - the Tucuma-do-Para is a palm tree native to the Amazon Forest in Brazil. Tucuma butter comes from the seeds of the edible fruit from these trees. With high levels of Lauric, Myristic, and Oleic fatty acids, this butter is a wonderful emollient and excellent skin moisturizer! Tucuma butter melts upon contact with the skin and does not leave a greasy feeling. It is excellent for dry, sensitive skin and for eczema and psoriasis.
Mango Butter (Mangifera indica) - Mango butter comes from the kernels of the mango tree. It contains high levels of stearic acid and vitamins A, C and E, giving it excellent moisturizing power. It also offers protection against the sun. It can prevent dry skin and the formation of wrinkles. Mango butter reduces the degeneration of skin cells and restores elasticity. It can be helpful in providing relief from eczema and psoriasis. It has a soft, silky feel and absorbs well into the skin leaving it soft.
Organic Babassu Oil (Orbignya olifeira) is cold pressed from the seeds of the Babassu palm tree (Attalea speciosa), referred to as the "Tree of Life." The Babassu palm tree usually grows in the Amazon forest in South America. This particular Organic Babassu Oil is from the Netherlands. Babassu Oil contains 50% Lauric acid, which is anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and anti-fungal. It also contains Myristic, Palmitic, Oleic, and Stearic fatty acids making it a superior emollient for the skin. Babassu is a great oil to treat chapped or irritated skin, mild burns, shallow cuts, cracked heals, bug bites, stings, rashes, eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea. It has a natural cooling effect on the skin, which makes it a great after-sun moisturizer and can help soothe sunburn. It is lightweight and absorbs rapidly into the skin without leaving a heavy, oily feeling.
Rice Bran Oil (Oryza sativa) - In Japan it is a high compliment to tell a woman that she is a "rice bran beauty." Women in Japan use rice bran oil on their skin as their anti-aging secret helping to keep it young, clear and free of wrinkles. Rice brain oil is extracted from the germ and inner husk of rice. Rich in Vitamin E, B, beta-carotene, CoQ10 and squalene, it is an amazing moisturizer, skin tone balancer, hydrator, skin smoother, and cellular regenerator. It slows down the aging process, helps reduce dark spots, protects from environmental stressors, plumps skin and gives it a youthful glow.
Abyssinian Oil (Crambe abyssinica) - Abyssinian Oil, native to the Mediterranean region, is a natural seed oil from a mustard plant with an ultra light, non-greasy skin feel. It has a unique molecular structure not found in any other naturally occurring substance. It contains a high percentage of unsaturated C22 fatty acids, making it highly resistant to oxidation. Abyssinian oil contains high levels of Linoleic and Linolenic fatty acids, helpful for skin and hair regeneration, reducing inflammation, and adding moisture.
Organic Castor Oil (Ricinus communis) - Castor oil has been around for a very long time, and has been widely used for medicinal purposes in its native lands spread across Africa, the Indian subcontinent and the Mediterranean basin. It has high viscosity and is very lubricating. Castor oil is considered a warm oil that promotes circulation, excellent for massage and relieving soreness. The analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties of ricinoleic acid, which constitutes almost 90% of castor oil, have been well documented. It acts as a decongestant for the lymphatic system. It also acts directly on the immune system by stimulating the thymus glad and increasing the number lymphocytes, which are white blood cells. What is amazing is that topical use is found to bring about these internal changes. Castor oil brings a luscious quality to my body butters.
*Body butters contain only butters and oils. No water is added, requiring no synthetic preservatives to be used in the products to prevent mold growth. Please keep your body butter free of water. Always use clean, dry fingers, or the enclosed spatula when touching your body butter.
*Body Butters have a shelf life of one to two years.
*A little goes a long way. Use after the shower or bath, when skin is still damp, or anytime you want lusciously soft skin.
